Greetings everyone,

The first greater boston area theoretical chemistry lecture series of 
the semester will be on Wednesday January 11th.  The talk will be given 
by Mark Ratner from Northwestern Univeristy.  The title of his talk is: 
Controlling Electronic Properties of Molecules by Distortion: Fixing 
Pathways.  The abstract and further information can be found at the

Mark Ratner's lecture will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at MIT in room 
4-237 on Wednesday, January 11th.  Some snacks and drinks will be provided.
