"...I do not do the good I want, but I do the evil I do not want" (Romans 7:19)
In our spiritual journey, many of us can experience what St. Paul describes in his letter to the Romans. We know in our hearts what is good and holy, yet we slip into sin.
This gap between what we want and what we do can leave us feeling broken, angry with ourselves, hopeless. It can drain and debilitate us.
But, just as real as this struggle against temptation and sin, is the abundance of God's love through Christ Jesus, who does not leave us alone in our fight - no matter how overwhelming or painful our sin can seem, it pales in comparison to the grace God can work through our effort.
Please join us for MIT Catholic's 2026 Winter Retreat, where we'll explore how to wrestle the rift in our spiritual lives between the good we desire and the evil we struggle against. We have only 24 slots available, so please sign up as soon as possible using the following link<https://forms.gle/rDnUAUhSsxp9aLJ3A>.
