Society of Catholic Scientists Lecture:

“Join us for an evening with acclaimed New York Times columnist and Harvard alumnus Ross Douthat, as he explores one of humanity’s most enduring questions: Why believe?

In his talk, Believe: Why Everyone Should Be Religious, Douthat examines how modern science, the mysteries of consciousness, and widespread experiences of the supernatural point toward the reasonableness of religious faith. Drawing in part from Christian thought, he offers a compelling perspective on how belief can illuminate our understanding of the universe and our place within it.

The lecture will begin promptly at 6:00 PM; guests are asked to arrive by 5:50 PM. After that time, any unclaimed seats may be released to those without reservations. This event is free of charge and open to the public, but registration is required to secure a spot. https://events.humanitix.com/aletheia-lecture

A reception will follow at the Harvard Faculty Club (North Dining Room) from 7:00–8:30 PM.”

Blessings and peace,

Fr Michael

“Jesus loves you always, even when you don’t feel worthy.
When not accepted by others, even by yourself sometimes,
He is the one who always accepts you. Only believe, you are precious to Him.
Bring all you are suffering to His feet, only open your heart to be loved by Him as you are.
He will do the rest.” Saint Mother Teresa
