TONIGHT’S IAP LECTURE, 7:30pm (refreshments at 7:15pm):

Understanding the Catholic Mass:
Is the Catholic Mass really a continuation of the Last Supper celebrated by Jesus? Why do Catholics need a priest to lead the Mass? Where do the prayers and readings at the Mass come from? Why are Catholics required to go to Sunday Mass, doesn’t God hear prayers when they are said at home or on a walk? How can a person get more out of attending Catholic Mass?

If you have ever asked these or similar questions, join us for this thought-provoking lecture on the Catholic Mass.

PRESENTER: Fr Michael Medas, MSW, MIT Catholic Chaplain and Director of MIT Catholic Ministry.

DAY/TIME: TONIGHT, 7:30pm – 8:30pm.
(Refreshments beginning at 7:15pm)

LOCATION: Student Center / Mezzanine Lounge (W20-307)
