MONDAY - HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION: We will have two Masses 12:05pm & 7:30pm celebrating the Holy Day, the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of our Blessed Mother, Mary. The Immaculate Conception refers to the conception of Mary, the mother of Jesus. The "immaculate" is not a reference to how she was conceived by her parents, Sts. Joachim and Anne. Rather, it acknowledges that God intervened and saved our Blessed Mother from the stain of original sin from the moment of her conception. Come to Holy Mass and honor God by honoring the Blessed Mother, our mother too (John 19:26-27).
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is typically celebrated on 8 December. However, since this year 8 December is a Sunday, the Holy Day of Obligation is transferred to Monday, 9 December.
Blessings and peace,
Fr Michael

“Jesus loves you always, even when you don’t feel worthy.
When not accepted by others, even by yourself sometimes,
He is the one who always accepts you. Only believe, you are precious to Him.
Bring all you are suffering to His feet, only open your heart to be loved by Him as you are.
He will do the rest.” Saint Mother Teresa
