The TCC is hosting an IAP Seminar Series on Catholic Social Teaching on Tuesdays 7:30PM-9:30PM ET, STARTING TODAY (JAN 5). Zoom link: https://mit.zoom.us/j/92714525860 (full invitation below).


This seminar series will be taught by Fr. Jeff Langan, who was a professor specializing in political philosophy at the University of Notre Dame, before becoming a priest. This seminar will span 4 lectures covering 4 main topics from the Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church:

  1.  The dignity of the human person and the Family
  2.  The Common Good
  3.  Subsidiarity and solidarity
  4.  Justice

We will focus on the main principles of Catholic Social Teaching. In addition, based on interest, we can briefly discuss more specific topics such as, but not limited to, economics, work, politics, international order, environmental justice, and war/peace.

Lectures will be recorded for those who are interested, but cannot come at the scheduled time. I apologize for the last minute notice.
