=== (1) MIT Giving Tree ===
Each year, MIT's Public Service Center runs a Giving Tree program for
children in the greater Boston area. The PSC collects the Christmas
lists for over 500 children in Boston; PSC relies on charitable
donations of gifts (and sometimes funds) to help make Christmas Day
special for all those children!
Gift tags are currently available at PSC, but Megan and Jason will be at
Mass tomorrow (Sunday the 28th!) with some sign up sheets. If you're
interested, you can sign up then! If you're interested in helping but
won't be at Mass, please contact Jason (jcryan13 at mit.edu) with your name
and email.
Gifts are only about $20 a piece - we aren't asking for much! But it
means the world to these children. The gifts are also sorted in three
different age ranges of (0-5), (6-11) and (12+). You can pick a
preference if you like, or we can surprise you... your choice!
=== (2) Holy Hour and Divine Mercy Chaplet (Fri 12/3) ===
There is a group praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet on every first Friday
of the month at 3pm in the Chapel during Holy Hour. The next Holy Hour
will be on Friday, December 3.
=== (3) Advent Reconciliation Service (Tue 12/7) ===
The Advent reconciliation service at 7pm on Tuesday December 7 will
include music, scripture, communal examination of the conscience, and
the opportunity for individual confession. For more information,
contact Father Clancy (frclancy at mit.edu).
=== (4) Seasonal Mass and Christmas Party (Sat 12/11) ===
There will be a seasonal Mass on December 11 at 8pm in the Chapel,
followed by a Christmas party at 9pm in the W11 dining room.
