- Ascension of the Lord
Join us this Thursday for mass for the Ascension of the Lord at 12:05pm
in the chapel.
- Eucharistic Ministers needed
EMs are the ones that help set up for mass and prepare the
Eucharist. It's a great way to help serve the church and, for many,
even gain a better understanding of one's faith. We rotate the
schedule, so you would only be serving about once every two or three
weeks. If you're interested in serving next year or want more
information, contact Fr. Paul (catholic at mit.edu) or contact Joel Helton
(helton at mit.edu) or Josef Miler (jmiler at mit.edu).
- Religion and the Media in the US
This Thursday May 5 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm in W11, there will be a forum
on Religion and the Media in the US. The speaker will be Gustav
Niebuhr, Associate Professor, Religion and the Media, Syracuse
University. The respondent will be Tom Roberts, Editor, National
Catholic Reporter.
This event is free but registration is required. Email weinmann at mit.edu
to register.
Sponsored by the Technology and Culture Forum at MIT and the Tech
Catholic Community.
- BBQ
Join us this Sunday at 6:00pm, after the 5:00pm mass, at the Kresge BBQ
pits for dinner with TCC.
- Sandwich Social
Next Thursday, May 12 at 6:00pm there will be a sandwich social.
All are welcome to join us in the W11 Main Dining Room for TCC's
celebration of the end of the semester. Featuring food and conversation
while honoring those receiving degrees or leaving TCC.
