In early 2010, Dr. Etsuko Toyoda, from The University of Melbourne,
requested volunteers to participate in a survey regarding aspects of
their tango experience and preferences.
Data from that survey, relating to Latinos and Japanese, have been
analysed and two papers written and published.
Etsuko wishes to express her appreciation to those who gave of their
time in undertaking the survey. (See links below where the full papers
can be viewed.)
Etsuko has now turned her attention to Korean tango dancers and is
seeking a collaborator for this further research. In particular she
wishes to contact someone familiar with Korean culture, who is bilingual
in Korean and either English or Japanese, preferably a tango dancer or
with an interest in Argentine tango.
Etsuko can be contacted at etsuko at exemail.com.au
