Interesting question, Sherrie.  At this stage in my tango life (16 years), I'm just having fun with my friends and husband.  I don't dance much anymore at a milonga, but I still go to the milongas to socialize or because I enjoy deejaying.  The teacher/organizer in me likes to keep tabs on what's happening in the community and checking in with other organizers.
