I think the problem with learning from You tube is that many dancers  
who are learning and many videos that are made focus on footwork and  
movement rather than on the more subtle and sometime invisible  
connection between partners and on the role of the upper torso in  
leading and responding.  This focus on movement and feet is also true  
of teachers, especially those who begin teaching after only a few  
years of dancing.
