Quote 1:	"Who appointed you the adjudicator of what is
and what is not Tango?"
Quote 2:	"compare what happens in Maipu 444 on
Saturday (Cachirulo) with what happens in the same place on Wednesday
(La Marshall) with what happens at Nin~o Bien with what happens at
"X." They are all tango."

I am continuously amused by some members of this list who are opposed to any
succinct definition of tango, yet themselves make assertive judgements of
what is and is not tango.
If my participation in this list has taught me anything, it's that tango
can't be described accurately by anyone as there is no measure by which any
comment can be judged. This may be tango's strength or its ultimate
downfall.
In my opinion tango is the playground for un-credentialed judges - an
activity that can be fun to watch or make one pull their hair out.
(my apologies to the knowledgeable tango teachers and dancers who know
they're right because ........)
