OK , maybe I get to post the last of 2010...what I like is that it appears to
me that the last of the Tango-L are in agreement that preserving the line of
dance and the music of the Golden age is somewhat IMPORTANT ...important enough
to save the social dance of Argentine tango and not just leave us with the
acrobatics of the stage dance. ..by the way, this is what happened to the
golden age of Spanish Flamenco which occurred even later (the 50's) .... and now
we have the stage version of flamenco..good luck with that.
OK, I had a reason to post here and I'm trying to remember it...oh yeah, the
music and the line of dance...what the heck..we want a social dance to exist
into our old age ....don't we? check out Jan's latest videos of the old timers
still doing it....hey, way after it was expected (due to Viagra) we are still
kicking !! Just check out Jan's link here: don't be a hater.

"The music makes you dance. It is so simple when one gets it. Connect with my
partner and then connect with the music, let the music tell me how to move my
body rather than me tell my body how to move to the music. With the right music
and right partner, I am contented to have just one tanda a night" -Pedro Sanchez
"Life expands or contracts in direct proportion to one's courage." -Anais Nin
