Not from what I can tell. When nuevo degenerates
into pure acrobatics, it'still nuevo but no longer
tango. But it certainly doesn't need to. Perhaps
you can only tell because your eye is attracted to
only the more egregious examples (or perhaps you
consider only the egregious examples "nuevo")?
