Bad.

Rover gets the message. Whatever you do don't come over to this one.>>>

I have been dancing a long time and there are certain women I will not dance
with, even though I may have danced with them before, but the reasons can
vary.  Sometimes it's skill, but sometimes it's attitude. Some women I never dance
with again because they never seem to improve or follow very well, even after
years of dancing, and trips to Buenos Aires, and despite the fact that they
feel they are entitled and advanced. Sometimes it is a style of dancing. Since
I only dance close embrace at milongas, if she wants to dance with me but
insists on dancing open, then that is usually the last dance,  Another thing is
being corrected, especially when they are wrong and/or are novices, or a
stranger. (This sometimes happens with women who are already trained as dancers, but
not yet in tango.)  I don't correct my partners at milongas, especially a
stranger. But the simplest way to explain it would be...if a woman makes me feel
uncomfortable, either about the way I dance, the way I hold her, or whatever, I
don't return to ask her. Luckily we have a fairly large community here so
there are always others to choose from and have beautiful dances with, so over
the years you tend to dance with the ones that make you feel the best.
But that also works both ways. Because I am also an older dancer, I don't
expect every woman to love dancing with me, in spite of my skill, either because
of my age, my looks, my style of dancing or even just chemistry.

Don't over-analyze too much, just dance with someone else.

Cheers,
Charles
