[Tango-L] Safety hazzard flying to BAires

Tim and I departed BsAs on April 6.  Our flight was delayed for takeoff due "airport problems".

Regardless of the cost of the airfare, there are other compelling reasons to research the trip more carefully. I just read in the Atlanta paper that the authorities in Argentina are breaking international law and putting the passengers at risk because they have not reparied their only radar which was hit by lightning. According to the world's main flight controllers organizationArgentineans are operating the BsAs airport without a radar and there have been 5 near-collisions since March 9...... Of course, the Argentineans say that the safety concerns are greatly exaggerated and they are supposed to get a new radar in opeartion in a month....
