[Tango-L] It doesn't matter how you step as long as you do it with feeling

Is your weight on the metatarsal or the heel when you take a step?

I teach with three milongueros. Beto walks heel first; Roberto Angel walks
on the metatarsal with the heel barely touching the floor; and Osvaldo
places the entire foot at once. Each has developed his own personal style
and does what works for him. Each has his own way of turning. They have
one thing in common--a firm embrace.

Social dancers should find what works for them. It doesn't matter
how you step. What matters is that you dance with your heart and soul.

Thinking about your feet isn't going to improve your social dancing as much
as connecting with the music. Tango isn't about how you look to others --
it's about how you feel with your partner.
