[Tango-L] Tango-L Ladies first!

Just a small observation:

When I started to Tango 13 years ago,
we tried to follow the Latin rule to always
put the Lady first.

If you for instance go to the homepage of
Claudia Codega and Esteban Moreno,
you will see that Her name is put first,
not His. And it is not a case of alfabetical.
It is just that Esteban respects Claudia
enough to put her first.

This *rule* seems to have some difficulty
to persist in Europe, for some odd reason ...

I have not checked all the home-pages,
so I don't know if all Latins follow the
same curtesy rule.
Or is it something that is disapearing in
Argentina as well? Is there anyone who knows?

But once upon a time, teathers coming to
Sweden from Argentina, asked us:
"Why do you put the Man's name first?
The Woman should be put first, of course!"

How about it?
/Eva
