     Dance in Argentine dance (not dress) shoes with
the higher heel that most Argentine male dancers order.
This tends to put more weight on your heel instead
of the ball of the foot, or worse, the arch.  Also,
take any opportunity you can while dancing to put
weight on your heels.  You don't have to lean back to
do this, it can still be done while leaning forward.
Engage your calf muscles.

     For women, the worse thing you can do is to
wear dance sneakers and dance around with your heels
up off the ground.  Wear heeled shoes with solid
support, and USE THE HEELS as much as possible.
