hi Jeff G

i was doing some looking for my friend as well and
they ended up having desde el alma.

there is indeed a tango called La Marcha Nupical (a
typical orquesta would be with Biagi). you would
recognize the typical wedding ring in the music. but i
would strongly advise using it. This is because if you
look at the lyrics it is an immensely sad song. it is
essentially a guy hearing the wedding bells of his
love's wedding, and unfortunately he is not the
groom... i don't think there is anything more ironic
and painful then this!

there aren't that many happy tangos or vals around.
desde el alma would be a perfect option. "Gracias"
would be ok too i think. from my limited spanish the
lyrics are about thanking the beloved of the strength
she gave him, and that she gave her voice when he was
in darkness etc. the song finished with giving thanks
to God for your love and my love. i am just a little
unsure about how come such a lovely song would have
such a powerful dramatic music, and not sure how does
God come in play here (i know Argentines are
religious, but i would imagine one thanks God when
they are very happy or when they are very sad (like
thanking Him to take someone away so someone does not
need to suffer anymore... there is no hint of that
though in the whole song so i may just be paranoid...
