Enrique Rosich -- October 7, 1938 -- 68
He's affectionately known as El Gordo and has organized La Milonga de Los
Consagrados for five years.

Roberto Bonavato -- October 12, 1938 -- 68
We dance a tanda of Carlos Di Sarli, and I don't need to dance anymore.

Jorge Majluta -- October 15, 1929 -- 77
He wanted new look, so he had his head shaved and is growing a ponytail.
What a sweetheart! Jorge dances three times a week at Lo de Celia's, and I
make sure I get a few tandas with him.

Rodolfo Outeda -- October 23, 1940 -- 66
I've only danced once with him in Lo de Celia. What an embrace!

Nestor Leon -- October 25, 1934 -- 72
He will tell you that tango is an embrace, and he can prove it. Health
problems limit his dancing these days, but I've had the pleasure of dancing
with him many times.

Eduardo del Bueno -- October 28, 1932 -- 74
I haven't seen him recently, but I've enjoyed dancing with Eduardo in the
milongas where he always joined Ricardo Vidort and Alito.

Jorge Martin Orcaizaguirre -- October 10, 1926 - August 2, 1990
If you don't recognize the name, it's because he was known as Virulazo, in
the original cast of Tango Argentino in 1984 with his first girlfriend
Elvira Santamaria. At 138 kilos, he must be the heaviest tango dancer who
performed on stage.

Jose Domingo Monteleone -- October 14, 1930 - April 28, 1996
He was known as Pepito Avellaneda and taught in Europe with his partner
Suzuki. Their only visit to the United States was in June 1995 to teach
at the International Congress of Argentine Tango at Northwestern University
which I co-sponsored. I live six blocks from the apartment at Rincon 1109
in San Cristobal where Pepito and Suzuki lived.
