Hi everyone,
One of our members is looking for help with a roller skate free-dance
program and would like to incorporate Argentine Tango. Would anyone have
advice. Please email us directly at info at dancescape.com (or if you wish to
respond directly to him, at
http://dancescape.com/eve/forums/a/frm/f/531106172 ) ...

FROM DAVID:

"My wife and I are working on a Tango themed roller skate free-dance
program. We were inspired to try that after seeing the movie 'Tango'.

"Our challenge is developing the body postures, attitudes, moods, timing and
flourishes to give the program a Tango look and feel. Obviously the footwork
will be different because we are skating rather than in shoes.

"What videos would you recommend we study for that particular goal?

"We do not have a Tango background, but are very much interested in taking
Argentine Tango classes in the future if we can locate one."

[Also, does anyone have any leads on Agentine Tango classes/instructors in
the South Jersey area? That includes the Cherry Hill and vicinity,
Burlington and Cmmden areas, and possibly Philadelphia, PA.]

DanceScape is continuing to look for feedback from Argentinian Tango dancers
about how your may have life changed because of dancing? If dance has made
an impact on your life, we would love to hear about it as part of research
for a new Television series!

We've had a lot of representation from other dance styles but would be
wonderful if had representation from Argentinian dancers, whether
professional or hobbyist!

E-mail info at dancescape.com or post your response at

Thanks for everyone's help!
