The official name as registered in May 2006 is Asociacion Argentina de
Maestros y Bailarines de Tango Salon -- Matrix Milonguera.
The announcement of this new organization was published in the July 2006
issue of B.A. Tango-- Buenos Aires Tango, published monthly by Tito Palumbo,
who keeps readers informed about important matters like this one.
A board of directors was appointed for a term of two years, with Eduardo
Gonzalez, a lawyer, as its president. The organization's objectives are to

produce competitions, festivals and various events; to grant awards under
the name "Milonguera Matrix Order"; to receive, organize, and help people
and groups from Argentina and other countries; to produce materials
(printed, multimedia, videos, etc.) to finance the organizations'
activities.
The organization's offices are located at Corrientes 1965 10th floor, office
"J" where inquires can be made on Thursdays from 4:00-8:00pm. Telephone

I learned about the existence of this organization only two days ago. I am
glad that a serious group of social dancers have decided to form an
organization to support and preserve tango as a social dance in Buenos
Aires. I look forward to offering my help in any way I can.
