Marquerito,

If you want comedy, there's "Charlemos," despite the fact that Rufino
moans it like soap-opera tragedy in the Di Sarli recording. (But Canaro
nails it, as usual.) There's also "El hipo," which is plain silly.

If you want "up" romantic tangos, there's the waltz "Dos corazones," the
classic "A media luz" (which can probably only be interpreted as the
invitation to an illicit affair, but no matter), and the milonga "Ella
es asi," for starters.

Then there's "Desde el alma," which is kinda like a post-breakup pep
rally (you can hear this in Nelly Omar's rendition of it). And there's
also "Alma de bohemio," which is more about one person than two, but
might be what you're looking for. The song "Milonga querida" might be
happy or sad or neither, depending on how you react to it.

The lyrics to all these songs are on my website, among other places.
