[Tango-L] Mapquest maps to milonga - offline

Hi,

If your liike me, whenever you spend a night in a new town, the first thing
you do is pull out your laptop and look for places to tango. Problem is, I
don't have a portable printer, and I end up writing down the mapquest or
google directions to the milonga and usually I have no local maps.

Here is a better way (with IE and Windows XP).

1. Go to mapquest and get driving directions to the desired location. Open
any of the little sub maps as desired.
2. In the Favorites menu, click Add to Favorites.
3. In the Add Favorites dialog box, check the box labeled 'make available
offline'. and click OK.

Take your laptop off offline and take it with you in the car.

To view your saved map offline

1. Turn on laptop and bring up Internet Explorer.
2. Under the File menu, select 'work offline'.
3. Click on the favorite (bookmark) you saved above.

Walla - your map is there offline and you can scroll through it as you
drive.
