Jorge Torres is a world-renowned Tango Choreographer, Dancer, and Impresario
of dance productions.  As Dance Captain of the worldwide production "Forever
Tango", Creative Director of The Shimmy Club, Inc., Juror of tango
championships, Artistic Director for the American Tango Institute, father
and husband, he is constantly touring across the USA, Asia and Europe
teaching and inspiring others in the art of Argentine tango.

Jorge Torres will arrive in San Jose for workshops, private classes and
appearances on June 13th.  The theme of his workshops will be "Energy &
Elegance"

Sunday, June 13th (1)
Time:  3:00-4:30pm  
Topic:  Energy Transfer
Create, deliver and receive energy through the use of the torso, tanden,
breathing and balance.
**This class will be suitable for all levels.

Sunday, June 13th (2)
Time:  5:00-6:30pm 
Topic:  Emphatic use of Energy
An extended study in the use of energy applied to more technically
challenging moves.
**This class is suited for intermediate dancers

Tuesday, June 15th
Time:  8:30-10:00pm  
Topic:  Tango Doble Frente
Tango with two fronts, also referred to as Tango al Revés or shadow position
**This class is suited for high Intermediate and Advanced dancers

Fees and Registration:
One workshop $30 (pre-register $25)
Two workshops (same day) $55 (pre-register $50)
**Tuesday workshops has a couples discount - registration required**
