After a long hiatus, Evan Wallace is returning to teaching at the Belltown
Dance Studio in downtown Seattle. 

Argentine Tango Level 1: The Fundamentals

Wednesdays, 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. 
February 10 - March 10, 2010 (five classes)

This introductory class will focus on the underlying structure of Argentine
Tango, with an emphasis on the body mechanics of the individual dancers and
the nature of the connection and dynamic between lead and follow. The
vocabulary emphasis in this series will be on simple walking and variations.
As such, intermediate or more advanced dancers may benefit from this class
as well. 

Argentine Tango Level 2-3: Beyond Fundamentals

Wednesdays, 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. 
February 10 - March 10, 2010 (five classes)

This series will delve further into the structure of the Tango. The goal of
this series will be to teach students to approach Tango as a true "one-step"
dance, where the broadest range of possibilities of the next step are always
available. The class will emphasize a traditional close embrace, but with
more expansive dynamic movement.
