Hi Everybody,
Graciela will be teaching in Portland on Friday September 26 and during the 
week end of September 27-28, 2008. On the other days of her stay she will be 
available for privates just send me an email if you are interested in 
scheduling one. Mind that she usually advises followers to take first her 
workshops before taking a private with her.

a) Communication and behavior on the floor, with a particular emphasis on 
the walk.

b) FOLLOWERS WORKSHOP I - The technique. (All levels)
The main focus for this workshop is technique aimed towards developing the 
posture, balance, walk, ochos and molinete of the follower. It will give you 
the tools for developing an incredible grounding in your dance and an acute 
sensitivity to the lead. It is perfect for any level of dancer and is a 
prerequisite for the following workshop.

c) LEADERS WORKSHOP (All levels)
This workshop is designed for those who want to improve their body lead, 
posture balance and walk. It was built from a follower prospective to help 
the leader in developing a more clear and defined lead. For this reason most 
of the exercises are designed for exchanging the roles in order to gain a 
better understanding of the intention and reception of the lead. Through a 
logic structure of movements the participants will deepen their experience 
of the basic elements of tango which will allow them to improvise and feel 
more freedom in their way of dancing.

e) FOLLOWERS WORKSHOP II - Embellishments (prerequisite Workshop b))
Starting form the basic technique involved in the posture, balance and walk 
of the follower this workshop aims to develop a deeper awareness of the leg 
which does not carry weight. A better dissociation of this leg will allow 
embellishments in a structured dance created essentially by the leader. The 
main objective is to develop the tools that will allow the follower to 
express her sensuality and musicality through embellishments that will 
become more a natural expression of her creative needs without interrupting 
the flow of the leader and creating in this way a balanced dialogue and 
connection between the two dancers.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the material taught, the number of participants 
is limited for workshops b), c) and  e) for this reason I would suggest you 
to pre-register!
NOTE: Bring flat shoes and dress comfortably.
