Miriam larici

Famous as the image of the show FOREVER TANGO, Miriam Larici still continues 
to mesmerize viewers and critics with her artistic elegance. In the 
classroom,  Miriam's gentle attention to detail and impeccable method of teaching 
continues to make her one of the Pacific Northwest's favorite visiting Tango 
instructors!
Miriam has been dancing since the age of 5, and has performed with many Tango 
companies in Japan, has had roles on Broadway, and even in the movie The 
Mambo Kings. But of course, it is her long-standing engagement in Forever Tango 
that recognizes her greatness in Tango (it is in fact Miriam’s photograph that 
is used in the Forever Tango logo). Despite this renown, she is known as a 
down-to-earth and very giving teacher (women will find her attention to the 
women’s part and technique especially rewarding).  Miriam Larici is the director of 
the Los Angeles Tango Festival 2008 (www.ladetango.com) which is to be held 
November 14-16.

Leonardo Barrionuevo
Leonardo has trained in different dance techniques such as contemporary dance 
and jazz. He has participated as a dancer and assistant of choreography in 
many tango shows in Argentina, Europe and Latin America. These include "Tango 
Sur", "Adios Pampa Mia", "Una Noche de Tango","Tango Evolution" in Italy 2002, 
and "Che Tango" in the " Cafe Tortoni" in Buenos Aires Argentina. He has also 
performed with the orchestra of "Juan de Dios Filiberto". In 2005 he toured 
with the show " Sabor a Tango" throughout Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and 
Venezuela. > Leonardo has achieved first place in many tango festivals throughout 
Argentina; " Festival Patagonia y Tango" 2004 and " Festival Mayen Leufur" in Rio 
Negro Argentina among others. He has recently performed in the show " Rojo 
Tango" in the hotel "Faena" in Buenos Aires.  In 2007 Leonardo formed part of 
the Company Forever Tango and has been touring with the this company for the 
past year.
 Leonardo danced with Miriam Larici at the Boston Tango Festival June 2008 y 
New Orleans Tango Celebration July 2008. He is going to perform with Miriam at 
the LOS ANGELES TANGO FESTIVAL 2008 November 14-15-16 and TANGO ADAMOR at 
Wilshire and ALEX THeater Nov. 22 y 23 2008.
