PART I: ALL LEVELS at ATI :  The American Tango Institute (ATI):  325

1-- 2:30pm Expressive & Musical Volcadas
The Volcada is actually one of the most comfortable & elegant moves in
tango vocabulary.  Focus on musicality, simple combinations & new
technique gives the beginner a good foundation + enhances
possibilities for the advanced dancer's ability to improvise. Concepts
will be applied to PART II of the Workshop.
2:30 -- 3pm:  GUIDED PRACTICA
Practice the concepts you just learned and have Nina & David on hand to help.

PART II:  INT/ADV at ATI :  The American Tango Institute (ATI):  325
N. Hoyne, Chicago, IL 60612
3 -- 4:30pm   Advanced Combinations with Volcadas, Rebotes & Leg Wraps
Fine-tune the energy channel established in PART I of the Workshop
allowing for the most amazing combinations of tango elements.  Explore
varieties in close & open embrace to express yourself to the music.
Emphasis on elasticity & release.
4:30 -- 5pm:  GUIDED PRACTICA
Practice the concepts with Nina & David on hand.


SUNDAY FEBRUARY 3
ALL LEVELS at Cafe Duvall:  Cafe Duvall:  2257 W. 23rd Place (corner
Oakley Ave.) Chicago, IL
1-- 2:30pm  Hanging out with Ganchos
Exploring the Gancho (hook) as a sensual wrapping move:  perfect for
the milonga since it stays in your spot!  Advanced technique adds in a
slight "colgada."
2:30--3pm GUIDED PRACTICA
3--5pm:  "Opposites Attract" PRACTICA continues at Cafe Duvall led by
Nina & David:  only $3 for those attending the workshop!  Superbowl
kickoff to follow at 5pm.
