then on Saturday and Sunday
Liz and Misami will teach a very special class with only
10 men and 10 women on a 16' x 24' dance floor
This class will be for people with a minimum of 6 months experience.
There will be no time limit on the length of the class. Liz will say when she
if finished, not the clock.
Several years ago with did this with Robert Hauk and all who attended these
classes loved them and learned a lot. Classes with Susanna Miller in this style
were also very loved. You'll feel up close and very personal with the
instructors.
Liz began her dancing training at the age of five. She performed with the
Jose Limon Dance company at the Lincoln Center and later through the Julliard
School of dance. She was a scholarship student at the Alvin Ailey American Dance
center also.
since 1991, Liz has focused on authentic club-style social dances origination
in Latin America. Her love lies in the on-body, "Apilado" or Milonguero style
tango. She has studied extensively with
Ricardo Vidort, Alicia Pons, Susana Miller, Osvaldo y Coca Cartery and Maria
Plazaola. Liz has taught four times at the Denver Tango festival, both on her
own and also with the late Ricardo Vidort, a renowned and deeply respected
Milonguero.
My own feelings are
She leads like Susanna Miller
She follows like Alicia Pons
Her Cadence is very close to Ricardo Vidorts.
Her instructions are extremely clear and exact.
What more could any one ask for.
