Felipe Martinez & Rosa Corisco, the prominent teachers and performers
of social Argentine Tango from the San Francisco/Bay Area will be
teaching a weekend of workshops in Washington DC Sep 5-7. Details
below:
Friday Sep 5:
7:30-9:00pm
All Level: MILONGA: Syncopations and turns.
Sat Sep 6:
1-2:30pm Int: EMBRACE TECHNIQUE: How to keep a dynamic dance and
create spaces while preserving a clear and containing frame.
2:45-4:15pm Int-Adv: COLGADAS & VOLCADAS MADE SMALL: Off-axes
movements in clos(er) embrace.
Sun Sep 7:
1-2:30pm Int.: UNDERSTANDING BOLEOS: Essential techniques to lead and
follow beautiful boleos.
2:45-4:15pm Int-Adv: DANCING IN COMPACT SPACES: Advanced vocabulary
and techniques for crowded dance floors.
Location: 8524 Thornden Terrace, Bethesda, MD
Cost: 25/workshop.
Felipe and Rosa will also be performing on Sep 6th at Viviana &
Isidoro Levinson's Saturday milonga at the Thurgood Marshall Center,
1816 12th St washington DC.
