       WindyCityTango, Unlimited, in cooperation with Tango Vida welcomes Deb Sclar & Brian Dunn’s return to Chicago direct from Buenos Aires - March 7 thru 13, 2007 to teach workshops and private lessons   

Tango partners, Deb & Brian share their passion for teaching and performing Argentine Tango music and dance with students and audiences worldwide.  They have taken over one hundred hours of advanced professional training with maestros Gustavo Naveira and Giselle Anne, are Certified Trainers in Mauricio Castro's innovative Tango Discovery methodology and often study with other world-renowned tango maestros.  Deb & Brian‘s goal is to share the rich cultural treasure of Argentine Tango by introducing as many people as possible to the powerfully intimate tango embrace, and inviting them into the authentic tango social dancing experience. Full-time tango professionals since 2002, Deb & Brian have taught thousands of students through group classes plus they teach an average of 400 private lessons a year. Deb & Brian continually refresh their tango with frequent trips to Buenos Aires and other major tango communities worldwide.  In addition to their workshops, Deb & Brian also organize tango "safaris" and produce tango performances.  As teachers, Deb & Brian continue to obsess about how to present the magical essence of dancing social Argentine Tango to students in the absolutely shortest possible period of study. ”Tango of the Man: Be the tree-trunk around which Her Tango Grows & Blossoms” - for Leaders.

               The ‘fine print’ regarding Classes & Workshops: We strongly recommend respect for the level designated for each class / workshop. It is not required to come with a partner, but it is recommended to pre-register for all classes / workshops so we can better balance lead vs. follow. We will encourage rotation of partners, but you are also allowed to stay with your own partner as long as you choose. Please allow at least 15 minutes before class to check in, register, and warm up. WCT, Unlimited and/or Deb & Brian reserve the right to change any class/workshop title or level or to cancel without adequate attendance.    Pricing for private lessons with Deb or Brian rate per hour: 

   For a solo person, 1 hour = $90; 2-3 hours = $80; 4 or more hours = $70.

   For a lead/follow duo, 1 hour = $80; 2-3 hours = $70; 4 or more hours = $60.

   For a small group (2+ persons) – rates shown per person, 1 hour = $50; 2-3 hours = $40; 4 or more hours = $35.

   To have BOTH Deb AND Brian add the following to the above rates, 1 hour = $25; 2-3 hours = $20; 4 or more hours = $15.

   WCT, Inc. offers a $10/hour maximum discount for each hour of private lessons with Deb & Brian with a paid Workshop (Thurs., Fri. & Mon. classes as well as Warm-up Exercise are not eligible for this discount). 

   The ‘fine print’ regarding private lessons: Possible package pricing for more than 4 hours, if paid in advance, for a specific individual, couple or small group. Minimum 24 hour advance notice to Phoebe &/or Deb & Brian is required to cancel a private lesson – or you pay fee.  Private lessons will be at Mariposa or P.J. Grant’s home.  Rates do not include cost of studio space if necessary; however, free space probably is available.  Transportation time to your location billed at hourly rate.
