After spending a month in Buenos Aires during the CITA
congress, Gladys Fernandez and Juanito Juarez will visit
Singapore to continue their "Nuevo Aires" workshop --
an exploration of contemporary fusion style merging
traditional with nuevo elements.  All the programs will
be held at Abrazos (http://abrazosclub.com).

Gladys is the first maestro to introduce Tango into
Singapore, and trained every local instructor and
the region over the past 10 years.  Juanito come from
a classical dance background, and performed with
Gotan Project on tour.

The workshop covers the transition from Milongueros, with
emphasis on close-embrace and simple rhythms, to the
elements of Nuevo that play on balance, energy and role
reversals.

All the sessions are progressive and part of a structure,
so you are encouraged to take the full program for best
results.  To further ensure the continuity in this
subject, Abrazos will offer thematic module the following
month to expand this workshop's material.

Guest Performance by Gladys & Juanito

Sat 21/apr  Theme Milonga ("Sport a real/fake tattoo")

Although this will be a very short visit, Gladys and
Juanito will give a performance at both Abrazos milongas
on 20 and 21/apr.  They also plan to shoot some video
footage for their forthcoming instructional DVD.
