QuinTango appears in Ames, Iowa,  on Saturday, October
28, at 7:30 pm under the auspices of the Ames
Town&Gown Chamber Music Association.   The program, at
 Ames City Auditorium,  includes a mix of traditional
and new tango, including the Golden Age masterpieces A
Evaristo Carriego, Inspiracion, El Dia Que Me Quieras
and Piazzolla's Fuga y Misterio, Balada para un Loco,
and Adios Nonino.    Concert includes guest dancers
Carina Losano and Pablo Repun.   Tickets for the
performance are available at

It  is with great pleasure that Sergio Segura Productions presents two new,  high quality Tango teaching DVDs: Advanced Tango Figures &  Sequences Vol. 2 and Tango Salon: The Fundamentals of Social Argentine  Tango Vol. 1. 

 Advanced Tango Figures & Sequences Vol.  2 continues the Todaro-Bravo System with eight more challenging yet fun  figures complete with instruction on the man's and woman's roles. 

  Tango Salon is filmed in the legendary Club Sin Rumbo in the Villa  Urquiza neighborhood of Buenos Aires and includes a historic overview  of the club as well as a tour of the facility guided by tango historian  and investigator Anton Gazenbeek.

Mariana Dragone is a very popular and much-loved teacher, highly 
respected in the San Francisco
Bay Area tango community.  She performed for give year with El Indio 
in the Plaza Dorriego, San Telmo,
Buenos Aires.  She has also worked with the late Hernan Obispo, and 
Fabrizio Forti, and also
appeared on stage with the late Carlos Gavito, Leon Geico, Mercedes 
Sosa and Victor Heredia.
Mariana has performed and taught in Argentina, France, Germany, 
Greece, Switzerland, Spain,
Japan, China, and through the US - recently partnering Chicho 
Frumboli in Sacramento.

this Saturday with the best Tangos, Milongas, Valses and more by none other  
than DJ Dr. Nelson Lopez formerly of the CITA Sunday Milonga in  Hollywood.  
Don't miss his extensive and extraordinary music  selections.

$500 CASH costume contest and the most scariest haunted  walk through the 
American/Czechoslovak Cultural Club at 13325 Arch Creek  Rd. (Right by the 
railroad tracks, off 135 St.- Opa Locka Blvd.) A block  and a half from Biscayne 
Blvd.- North Miami.

Special "Surprise" Performance by a professional dancer. 

There will be no Tango class.  Awesome and impressive Costume  Parade.  If
