Milonga course
Sundays: Nov. 5 to Dec. 10 (6 week course)
7 p.m. before Milonga San Telmo
$10 per class or $50 for all 6 weeks (includes Milonga San Telmo afterwards)

We are offering this class because Milonga is just as popular as tango but many teachers do not offer classes in it. For that reason students tend to just dance a fast tango to the milonga music.  Milonga has distinct characteristics and a different feeling from tango and should  be danced differently than tango.

Tango Musicality  Course
Mondays: Oct. 30 to Dec. 11 (7 week course)
7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
$105 for 7 weeks

The connection to the music in Argentine Tango is vital but often ignored because dancers get so focused on the steps that they are often not aware of the music.  In this course you will learn:
  - how to better connect with the music
  - about phrasing
  - how to recognize different musical elements
  - how to start and finish your dance musically
  - how to apply leaders and followers adornments to express the music
  - about the different orchestras and how those differences should affect the way you dance
  - about the history of the various tango orchestras
