[Tang-Residents] Fire Alarm

Greetings Tang Family:

Thanks to all who followed the protocol and evacuated the building during tonight's fire alarm.  Special shout out to those who helped calm down our anxious dog, Bebe.

We learned that the smoke was from a faulty belt in the subbasement engine room. Thank goodness it wasn't an actual fire, 10 degrees outside, or 3am. To avoid such unpleasantries, I would like to remind everyone that if there is a cooking mishap, please do not open your apartment door to push out the smoke because the fire alarm sensors are in the hallways near the elevators. Instead, open your windows and turn on kitchen exhaust fans.
