[Tang-Residents] Emergency water shut down by Facilities

  Yesterday around 11 AM department of Facilities was notified of a flood from the mechanical space in the basement of Tang Hall.  They quickly responded and did an emergency water shut down that affected the A  and F suites.  

Both hot and cold water theorizer was shut down to make the necessary repairs.  

Quite often after a  water shut down  resident may experience dis discolored brown water from the hot water tank, being emptied and then refilled.  

Keep in mind when this does occur please allow the water to run five minutes before until water becomes clear once again.  

Those of you who opened up a maintenance repair request or notified in the order closed out.
