[Tang-Residents] No Smoking in Tang Hall

Greetings Tang Hall Family:



Recently there have been several complaints of the smell of smoke in Tang, particularly marijuana smoke. This is a reminder for those who have not yet read MIT's housing policy.



There is no smoking, anywhere in Tang Hall (cigarettes or anything else).



Because of the structure of the building, it is easy for smoke to travel through vents, holes in the walls created for heating pipes, out of one partially open window and into another, and up to the second-floor windows if you are going outside but standing close to the building beneath them.
