Update
We apologize for the confusion.
MIT facilities responded today and will manually turn the heat on for 24 hours to remove the chill within the building.
Please do not call and request for a space heater at this time. They will be used for emergencies only.
Adjustments have been made and the heat will automatically go on once the outside temps drop below 60 degrees.

Because there are more evenings where the temperature is dropping into the 40s and 50s F, we will be turning the heat on in Tang next week instead of the usually mid-October date.  Until then, layer up.
