[Tang-Residents] Apply to be a Tang Hall Officer!

Dear MIT graduate students,
Interested in getting more involved with the graduate student community at MIT while also securing your housing for the next year? Tang Hall Residents’ Association (THRA), the student government at Tang Hall, is looking for new members for the term May 2019 – May 2020. This time, we have the following open positions:
IT Chair (1 position)
Recycling Chair (1 position)
Gardening Chair (1 position)
Purchasing Chair (1 position)
Social Chair (2 positions)
Sports Chair (2 position)
Publicity Chair (1 position)
Positions will be filled by elections by Tang Hall residents.
If you’d like to contribute in developing the Tang community, please fill out this form<https://goo.gl/forms/DAuPRmqJFGxPWMbg1> by noon on Monday, March 20th, 2019. Only full MIT graduate students who will be in MIT till May 2020 should apply. If you are interested in a specific position that’s not open, please write to us. The campaigning and election rules will be communicated to prospective candidates after all nominations have been received.
It is mandatory for the elected board members to participate in the annual THRA Retreat, which will be held around June 1st.

2. You get to shape Tang's social and sports scenes - introduce new events and initiate new policies to improve the lives of graduate students.
3. You acquire important leadership skills which will prepare you for your life beyond MIT.
