Dear residents,
If you are moving out in June or July and have bedding, clothes, shoes,
electronics, books, or other useful items you don't need anymore, we
encourage you to donate them to Trash2Treasure program before the evening
(7PM) of June 14th. We will start to pack donations for storage after that
time.
*Please note that none of these items are acceptable in the recycling area*,
because it is dedicated for single-stream recycling (a semi-automated
procedure that separates various recyclable items out of one stream).
Attached posters show the types of things that can and cannot go into
single-stream recycling.
Trash2Treasure is a student-run program (by both Undergraduate Association
and Graduate Students Council) that aims at preventing the waste of useful
items during move-out period by collecting them and redistributing to
incoming students in the Fall. The collection bins have been set up near
the back entrance of Tang:
Thank you!
Ivan
