[Tang-Residents] Fwd: Tang/Westgate Recycle area issues

Please see message below from MIT GROUNDS SUPERVISOR

We need your HELP at Tang/Westgate Community

The need to seperate recycling properly and items to avoid in the single stream recycle area. We are in critical time right now with our Recycle hauler Çasella which in the past had a 5-7% acceptance level of contamination, which now has dropped to a ZERO TOLERANCE level of contamination.

Please
NO BLACK BAGS
NO FOOD WASTE
NO trash
NO contaminated clear bags of recycle

Single stream recycling accepted items only
Paper
Glass Bottles
aluminium cans
Cardboard

The items in the attached photo represent what is not accepted. We will continue to remove and send photos of contaminated recycle areas as needed until we can improve as an institute.

This will not be an over night change, but a change we must make.
