Subject: Generator update


Dear residents,

I wanted to provide you with an update on the work you can expect to see around Tang Hall and Westgate  as part of the generator installation project.


  *   On Monday, September 19, a construction trailer will be installed near the Westgate loading dock at the end of the K building. You will hear noise as early as 8:00 am while the truck delivers the trailer. We apologize for this inconvenience but due to the size of the trailer and the need for the truck to travel through Cambridge before rush hour, delivery could not be delayed past this time. Most of the noise will be from the truck beeping as it backs up. Michael will be moving the dumpsters for the trailer arrival.


  *   Tree stump removal will continue. Tree stump removal is necessary to eliminate tripping hazards in the courtyard areas and aids in the restoration of the grounds after the project is complete. Noisy work will continue to start after 9:00 am.
