[Tang-Residents] THRA monthly meeting on Monday, Sep 12th at 8:45 PM

Dear residents,

The Tang Hall Residents' Association serves Tang residents on all matters pertaining to their general welfare as graduate students. Every month, we meet to discuss policy matters and plan dorm-wide social events. I'd like to welcome you to our next monthly meeting tomorrow, September 12th at 8:45 PM in the 24th floor lounge. The agenda is as follows:


1.      Orientation Olympics review + filing for reimbursements (Sports Chairs, President, Treasurer)

2.      Review of other August socials + Upcoming September socials  + submission of post-event reports (Social Chairs)

3.      Upcoming surveys to be sent out (food preference, social days) (Vice President)

4.      What matters to me and why series for this semester ( Dorm Coordinator)

5.      Floor captains and floor socials (President)

6.      Website updates + work left (IT chair)

7.      Status of pro-cards + payment for IKEA trip + award for logo design competition (Treasurer)

8.      THRA memorabilia  for guest speakers (Publicity Chairs)

9.      Intra-mural sports this year (Sports Chairs)

10.  Social Cabinet cleanup date (Social Chairs)

11.  Plans for green social + recycling  and compost program (Recycling Chair)

12.  Updates on suggestion boxes + new purchases (Dorm coordinator, Purchasing and Maintenance Chair)

13.  Resident-initiated events - publicity + avoiding recruiting by some groups (All)

14.  Sending emails to new residents about dorm policies (Dorm coordinator + IT Chair)

If you'd like to join us in the meeting, please let me know by noon on Monday, Sep 12th. Dinner will be provided. Please bring your own utensils and help Tang go green.
