[Tang-Residents] THRA 2015-16 Elections: Apply by Mar. 18

Hello Tang residents,

March is the time when the Tang Hall Residents' Association (THRA), the
student house government, renews its board membership, and makes the
residents aware of positions open for election next year. The THRA believes
in making Tang your home at MIT, and we want people like you who believe
the same thing to help us make that happen. This time, we are happy to
announce that there are a total of *8 positions open on the THRA*: we need
two sports chairs, four social chairs, one purchasing and maintenance
chair, and one dorm coordinator. The link to an explanation of the
responsibilities that go with each position can be found in the application
form.

Should you be interested in applying to be on the THRA for 2015-16, please
fill out the form no later than *Wednesday March 18, 2015, 11:59 pm EDT* at

Note that the two 50-word “Idea Pitch” and “Relevant Experience” sections
will be used during the voting process, for your candidature. Also the Dorm
Coordinator position is a call for nominations, but the final officer
choice is done by the housemasters Dawn and Larry after an interview. Tang
Residents will not vote on this position.

You will be notified of further election procedures once the nomination
deadline passes.

socials that you would like to have, and we will support you!
3. On a more serious note, it is important to have responsible people
leading a large residence like ours. The better our community spirit, the
more we can enjoy our time at MIT.
