[Tang-Residents] Storm information

Dear Residents,

As you may be aware, significant snowstorm is expected to impact the Boston/Cambridge area between 7:00 pm this evening and 1:00 am on Wednesday, January 27, 2015. Snowfall amounts of 12-24+ inches are expected, along with cold temperatures. In preparation, please note the following:


*       Please secure your windows by making sure they are locked! This will help keep the heat in.

*       If you have any problems with heat, or notice any water leaks, report them IMMEDIATELY!

*       Please check your email regularly throughout the storm for any important announcements.

*       Baker House Dining hall will be open for brunch (11:00 am - 1:30 pm) and dinner (5:30 pm - 8:00 pm).

*       Some dining outlets will be open in W20, even if the Institute is closed.

*       If you prefer to cook for yourself, please consider going to the store today for any food items you might need.


Although snowstorms are a regular occurrence in this area, please remember that Facilities may take longer to respond to non-emergency maintenance calls.
