[Tang-Residents] Alarm Live Test

Subject: Alarm Live Test


Dear Tang Hall Residents,

As part of the 24th floor renovation project, MIT Fire Protection is required to conduct an additional brief, live audible tests of the Tang Hall fire system on  August 25, 2015 between 12:00PM and 1:00 PM.

This test is required by the City of Cambridge and necessary to ensure that the new fire alarm on the 24th floor  is responding to the alarm system properly as they remove the temporary detection installed for the renovation.  Although you will be able to hear the alarm, you will not need to evacuate the building during these tests.
