Subject: Keep outdoor parking lots clear this weekend
Dear Colleagues,
As snow is predicted this Saturday into Sunday, we ask all campus residents to park in indoor parking facilities this weekend. This will reduce the volume of cars in outdoor lots and allow the plows to clear the lots more easily. Lot locations can be found here: http://web.mit.edu/facilities/transportation/parking/locations.html
When it snows during the work week, it is advisable to travel to campus via public transit, if possible. If you must bring your car to campus, then you should park in a lot designated by your parking sticker. Parkers are assigned to lots based on the location of their office; some may be in outdoor lots and some inside.
If an employee needs to leave their car on campus overnight due to business requirements, they should contact the Parking and Transportation Office for permission: mitparking at mit.edu
Regards,
Ruth
