Message to students

In response to the Housing  Security report that was shared in a recent Tech article, Housing has hired a security consultant to create a report of existing security conditions in each residence hall.   On Wednesday  late morning,  May 16th  the security consultants will be touring your building.   They will be joined by the Director of Housing and the head of the Security and Emergency Management Office.   The group will be inspecting all exterior doors, and testing all alarms and panic buttons.

This is the first step in creating a security plan for each residence.    The analysis should take no more than 2 hours.  We apologize for any inconvenience due to door alarms sounding during this process.
